3 Places to Put Your Hands when Photographing  

1. On the hips leaving an opening in the form of a triangle to give the body shape. 

2. Use the middle finger to touch the cheek and decolletage (collar bone).

3. Cup the base of the neck with one hand while crossing the other hand under the elbow and over the thigh. You should be seated to do this.

Don't make claws and fist they make your hands look cutoff at the knuckles.

Instead, practice making soft ballet hands with one finger and gently touching different parts of the body, like the shoulders, waist and hair. Doing this, takes the tension out of the hands.
